About Ms. Walsh-Coughlan:
I have worked for over thirty-five years in education. Many of those years were at St. Joseph School in Vancouver where I ran a highly successful program for students in grades 1-8 whose needs were not being met in the regular classroom due to a Learning Disability, Attention Deficit Disorder, or who learned best in a small structured environment.
For the last fifteen years, I have been in private practice at Vancouver Counseling & Tutoring, working with children and adolescents, offering skill-building tutoring and assessment. I also help parents understand their child's unique learning needs.
This is my seventh year providing assistance to the students at Our Lady of Lourdes. I am happy to be back in a Catholic school working with students and their families.
It is my goal to help and encourage students to meet their academic potential.
