Our Lady of Lourdes Development Program provides financial and other resources that enable the school to continue it's mission of providing affordable, high quality Catholic education. We have three major fundraising events each year: the Angels for Education Annual Giving Campaign, the annual school Auction, and the Lourdes Legacy Golf Tournament. In 2011-12, for the first time, Development is partnering with the Student Council to reinstate the Lourdes Jog-a-thon - a benefit for the school endowment fund..
Development programs also provide a variety of other ways for parishioners, friends, alumni, and school families to support the school. As you can see below each event or funding source provides for scholarship aid, endowment, or through the Lourdes Fund - the areas of greatest need within our school. The Lourdes Fund allows for the greatest latitude in funding so that school administration can fund needs as they arise. It is possible to make a restricted gift as well. Employee Matching Gifts, United Way, and SCRIP are three easy ways to support our school. Not all employers match donations but some do. Be sure to check with your Human Resources department and find out if your employer will double your charitable donations. If your company participates in the United Way Campaign you can designate Our Lady of Lourdes School as your charity of choice - simply write us in on your sign-up form! Buying SCRIP from Our Lady of Lourdes is a simple dollar for dollar exchange. For example, you use $10 of SCRIP to purchase $10 of groceries, gas, dinner out, etc., and OLL makes a small percentage of profit from the vendor.
