Our Lady of Lourdes students have abundant opportunities to serve the church, school, and community. Such opportunities help build compassion and leadership skills in our students. Our middle school leadership group, Lourdes Leaders as well as all middle school students are actively involved in school leadership roles.
Lourdes Leaders is a school leadership group available to middle school students. Approximately 8-12 students are chosen based on their applications to serve a trimester-long term on Lourdes Leaders. Among other things, the student council reestablished the Lourdes Jog-a-Thon as a fundraiser for the OLL Endowment in 2006. These students take a lead role in encouraging student participation in activities such as the Jog-a-Thon, various holiday activities & observances, Catholic Schools Week activities, and represent the school at our annual Open House. Lourdes Leaders are role models for students in younger classes and a shining example of an Our Lady of Lourdes student.
