As we plan for the future of Our Lady of Lourdes School, we recognize that planned giving must become an essential part of the overall development strategy of the school.

Our Lady of Lourdes School is a participant in the National LEAVE-A-LEGACY campaign. Leave A Legacy is a public awareness campaign utilizing public relations and the media to educate donors and the general public about the importance and value of leaving a charitable bequest to a non-profit organization. Promoted by the National Committee on Planned Giving (NCPG), it is a collaborative effort that partners non-profit organizations, development officers, planned giving and estate professionals.

It is estimated that by the year 2040, a $15+ trillion transfer will be made through Estates

Less than 50% of the population have a current, valid Will and it is estimated that only 6 - 10% of these Estates will make a charitable bequest

A Planned Giving Program diversifies non-profit’s revenue sources and increases Endowments.
