The focus of the Development program at Our Lady of Lourdes School is to provide financial resources and other resources, which will enable the school to continue it's mission of providing quality "Blue Ribbon" Catholic education that is accessible to all.
Building relationships is key to the OLL development program. We provide a variety of ways for parishioners, friends, alumni, and school families to support the school.
At present, our Development Program consists of these components:
Angels for Education Annual Giving Campaign
Our Lady of Lourdes conducts an Annual Giving Campaign each year from October through June. The campaign raises funds for tuition assistance, the school endowment fund, and general gifts for under-funded or non-budgeted areas of greatest need within our school.
The Angels for Education campaign and grants provide 100% of annual funding for tuition assistance at Our Lady of Lourdes. Funds raised during the campaign year are applied to tuition assistance the following year. Annual Benefit Auction
Our Lady of Lourdes annual auction is held in February. Mark your Calendars! Our 29th auction will be held on January 31, 2009. Auction proceeds go directly to offset operating expenses with an additional fund-an-item school improvement project incorporated within the event each year. Planned Giving
Planned Giving - In order for Catholic education at Our Lady of Lourdes to continue to grow and thrive it is essential for donors to recognize the need for planned giving to the school in their lifetime and beyond. To learn more about tax incentives and the relative importance and value of leaving a charitable bequest to your favorite non-profit organization, you please visit the Planned Giving page of the Seattle Archdiocese website.
OLL Endowment
|A gift to Our Lady of Lourdes School Endowment Fund is a gift that will ensure future financial stability for the school. A gift to the endowment today will keep the OLL tradition alive and guarantee that children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will benefit from Catholic education at OLL. Endowment donations can be made through Angels for Education. Since 2006 the Endowment has also been funded through the annual Lourdes Legacy Golf Tournament.
Matching Gifts
Many major corporations offer matching gift programs. With these programs any donation your make to OLL will be matched by the corporation. If this opportunity is available to you it is an excellent way to maximize the power of your gift. To find out if your company has a matching gift program simply contact the Human Resources department. They will give you a simple form to fill out, you bring that form to the school development office and we will submit it to the corporation with the non-profit information required. What a fantastic way to "DOUBLE YOUR DOLLARS" fo education.
